Never had. I enjoyed a DFH 60 Minute and a SN Torpedo tonight though. You use the app Untappd? Just installed it yesterday, pretty handy to catalog the beers youve tried. Could use some updating on tasting notes thought.

I'm not really a fan of flavoured beers, lagers, ales or stouts. There is a beer called 'banana bread beer' and several which are honey flavoured and to me it's just wrong. It's like cider that isn't apple or pear, such as raspberry and elderflower cider. Why are they even a thing.

Creme brule is like dessert in a bottle that sneaks up on you.

Fuck it. I went with whiskey this evening. At the moment, I regret nothing. This may change by tomorrow morning. Enjoy your beer. I have a 12 pack of Stroghs sitting in the fridge just in case I get tired of the whiskey. Yep, I'm a big spender on my booze.
Mmmmmm, booze.

This and New Glaurus' Belgian Red: best dessert beers ever.

Yes, I use Untappd.

Very smooth, even for a stout. Not too heavy which I liked. Started with a spicy vanilla almost mulled wine taste that quickly tapered to a lingering caramel. Masks the 10% ABV very well so it kicks like a mule.

First time I had it was on tap. Thank Gd it wasn't served as pints. First glass awesome. Second glass awesome. After the third glass, realized I should have stopped at 2.

Yeah, I got up to grab some water after I finished and was surprised by the dizziness.

Does Southern Tier sell anything in a normal sized bottle?

Yeah, I think they take their most successful year round beers and bring them down to 12oz, but prefer 220z to save on packaging costs.
